Wow, this is something new and different for me.  I enjoy writing, so I thought I'd start my own blog.  Perhaps no one will comment, which would be fine.  Perhaps someone will join me and share their thoughts, which would be great!  It seems as though nowadays many people prefer to be entertained by the television, video games, Internet websites, movie theatres, etc.  I enjoy these forms of entertainment as well (don't get me wrong); however, I enjoy conversing with people...kinda like the old days.  Well I'm not that old, I don't think, because I've been around for only 46 years.  lol! Nothing is good or bad, only thinking makes it so, right?  Looking on the positive side of one's age is to think of your years of age as a blessing!  Instead of thinking that I'm "already" x number of years old, I'd rather think that I've been "blessed" with x number of years!  Agree?  If you're already thinking, why not think big and in a positive way!!!

Years ago, way before electronic devices, cable TV, computers, etc. people entertained each other...that's pretty cool.  Talk about being creative and using your mind.  Or perhaps, just sitting near a camp fire was a wonderful thing too.  Heck just sitting around the kitchen table and conversing is nice.  I enjoy conversing and I see writing (or blogging) as a form of conversing with another person.  I'm putting my thoughts, views, or ideas in writing and it gives someone else an opportunity to respond with their thoughts, views, or ideas as well.  How cool is that?!?!...and at our convenience!  Interacting!  Maybe I should have become a teacher...hmmm?  Anyway, if you're interested in responding to my blog and sharing your thoughts, views, or ideas, please do not hesitate to do so!  That's the idea...the plan...the goal.  What's on your mind?  Any topic is welcome!

Isn't it amazing that there are over 6 billion people on earth?!?!  Wow, that's a lot of peeps!!! The thought boggles my mind, to say the least.  And to think that we all live a lifetime knowing only a small fraction of the world population.  It only makes sense though, because it gives us more time to spend with the people we know, which leads to getting to know them better.  The more people we know and interact with, the less we get to know each other, right?

I'm so glad it's the beginning of Fall!  I enjoy this time of year!  Have wonderful day tomorrow.
